LITTLE CORNER OF CHILLING AND SHARING

Come along and bring your ideas, your gear, your Mac, your skills. Take a seat and enjoy the peace, the art on the walls, the music in the hall and whatever treat you fancy.

Art, is very much a part of our story. The new Heights Cafe, has generously given great exposure to local artists by giving them the opportunity to exhibit and sell their paintings!

Have a wander and enjoy the notes and colours of our residents' art, curated by our savvy staff.
Sonia Stewart
Our current and recurrent resident Sonia Stewart has already sold two paintings in no time since The Heights Cafe started this initiative. She is now showing her Lady in the clouds (La Tête dans les Nuages) that you can see behind the counter when you come in. Very pluridisciplinary, Sonia primarily works in oil to paint her vulnerable yet charismatic women's portraits. She also works in a wide array of mixed media, creating atmospheric digital worlds where she combines her fine art photography with her paintings. She's also used her paintings to create an original and unique range of printed clothing and bags. She has lately applied her paintings onto unusual furniture she made out of paper mâché, epoxy, books and timber. You can find her work on her website:
